The project included among others, the following activities: Sector analysis, work plan revision, evaluation of the material origins and quarry analysis, evaluation of the constructions conditions, xamining laboratory operation, result analysis and checking their conformance with the general and special specifications of each phase, reports and recommendations of treatment, including their follow-up, supervision of construction of pavement structure (for asphalt and concrete pavement). |

The assignment comprises three phases: 1. Design of the project, 2. Tender Assistance and 3. Construction Supervision of 100 Km of the Luwero - Kafu Road.
The design included data collection, studies and design of the project. Tender assistance including the preparation of the prequalification notices, responding to requests for clarification, managing the site inspection and pre-tender meeting, opening and evaluation of bids, technical evaluation of alternatives, preparation of a tender evaluation report and preparation of the final contract documentation. Construction supervision includes the preparation of final accounts and approval of “as build drawings”. |
